    UC GPA Calculator

Calculate your University of California admission GPA using official UC weighting and capping rules. The UC uses only 10th and 11th grade A-G courses and applies a maximum of 8 honors points — with no more than 4 from 10th grade.

    Three UC GPA Types

The UC calculates three GPAs: Unweighted (no honors bonus, 4.0 scale), Capped Weighted (up to 8 honors points with the 10th grade cap), and Fully Weighted (all eligible honors points, no cap). The Capped Weighted GPA is the primary number used for UC eligibility.

    Honors & AP Weighting

AP, IB, and UC-approved honors courses earn an extra grade point per semester. This calculator automatically identifies honors-eligible courses when you search your California high school's UC-approved course list.

This calculator follows the official UC GPA calculation guidelines. Always verify your final GPA with your school counselor.
